个人简介

I was born in 1976 in Natal (Brazil) where I got a Bachelor degree in Chemistry. Then I moved to Recife (Brazil) to do a Master and PhD in chemistry in the field of spectroscopy and theoretical chemistry applied to lanthanide compounds. Afterwards I went to Switzerland and finally to Germany, where I got the Alexander von Humboldt fellowship to work with supramolecular systems like dye-loaded zeolite L crystals. After seven years in Europe, I became assistant professor at the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (USP) and after almost five years working at the USP I became Lecturer in Physical Chemistry at the Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) in the United Kingdom, to work with the application of molecular modelling techniques to investigate supramolecular systems and nanomaterials.
