Came to the UK in 2001 to work as a research technician in the group of Prof David Becker (UCL)
Studied for a PhD in Biochemistry under the supervision of Prof Martin Warren (QMUL) elucidating the Vitamin B12 biosynthetic pathway
Postdoctoral study at University of Kent worked on engineering of bacterial microcompartments for potential biotechnology applications.
Awarded a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship in 2013
