个人简介
Dr David Tétard studied at the University of Bordeaux 1 (France) and completed his PhD there in 1996, under the supervision of Prof. J.-B. Verlhac. The work related to the synthesis and study of iron and manganese complexes as oxidation catalysts. He then undertook post-doctoral work in the laboratory of Prof. Dave Leigh, then at UMIST (Manchester, UK), working on molecular recognition. After a brief time at Oxford Diversity (now part of Evotec), Dr David Tétard joined Unilever Research and Development at Port Sunlight (UK) where he worked for household and personal care products for 9 years (primarily on Laundry, Hair and Deodorant products). In November 2007, he joined Northumbria University where he’s now a senior lecturer, teaching organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. His expertise includes: organic synthesis, co-ordination chemistry, oxidation chemistry, bacterial enzyme inhibition and keratin chemistry
