个人简介

Rebecca received her MEng and PhD from the University of Nottingham (2011 and 2014, Environmental Engineering). Her doctoral studies focused on the development of microwave-infrared ore sorting technologies to reduce energy use in mineral processing, by rejecting uneconomic ore before feed material enters the mill. Following her doctorate, Rebecca took up a position as a research fellow within the National Centre for Industrial Microwave Processing at UoN. In this role she worked on industrial and academic projects across mineral processing, oil and gas, food and agricultural products, chemistry and energy, providing project planning and execution of work programs for delivery of multidisciplinary projects and both laboratory and industrial scale. In July 2016 she was appointed as Assistant Professor of Environmental Process Engineering.
