个人简介

Dr Kyle Galloway obtained his M.Sci. in Chemistry at the University of Glasgow in July 2005. His studies continued at Glasgow with the award of a prestigious Carnegie Scholarship to pursue research that was started during an undergraduate project, and he was also awarded the Robertson Medal for the most outstanding application of the year. The research investigated "New Routes to Single Molecule Magnets" under the supervision of Dr Mark Murrie and Dr Robert Peacock, with particular interest in the effect of molecular structure on magnetic properties and the role of the counterion in self assembly reaction conditions. Dr Galloway was awarded his Ph.D. in July 2009 and then moved to the University of Nottingham as a Teaching Fellow in Inorganic Chemistry. In 2015 he was promoted to Assistant Professor of Chemistry Education. Dr Galloway has won the Lord Dearing Award for his outstanding contribution to the development of teaching and student learning, which was presented in July 2015.
