研究领域

I am interested in the pathophysiology of cerebrovascular disease, in particular ischemic stroke and vascular dementia. I want to understanding how microstructural changes in the blood vessels and brain cause cognitive decline. I am interested in identifying neuroimaging biomarkers for cerebrovascular disease. Within this context, I use structural and functional neuroimaging techniques to identify pre-symptomatic changes in the diseased brain. I have an active interest in translation and testing various therapeutic strategies in an experimental setting.
