个人简介
Jamie read for his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, specialising in Physics. He stayed at Cambridge to do a PhD in the Department of Chemistry on the structure of amorphous materials, graduating in 2006.
He was then a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, before coming back to the UK in 2008 to take up a post at the Department of Chemistry in University College London, working on the computer simulation of bioactive silicate and phosphate glasses for medical applications. In 2013, he was promoted to Senior Research Fellow.
Jamie joined the Department of Materials in March 2015 as a Lecturer in the field of ceramic biomaterials.
