个人简介

Chris Rielly graduated with a BSc (Eng) degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London in 1980. He continued at Imperial College for a PhD in Chemical Engineering, working in the area of two-phase flow. In 1983 he moved to Cambridge University Engineering Department to take up a post-doctoral research position within their Fluid Mechanics Group. In 1986 he became a lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge. In 1988/89 he obtained a year's leave to work for a chemical contracting company and in 1998 he took sabbatical leave at the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. In August 1999, Chris came to Loughborough University to take up a new chair in Chemical Engineering. He was Head of Department in Chemical Engineering at Loughborough between 2008 and 2014 and became Acting Dean of the School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical and Materials Engineering in 2016.
