个人简介

Neural basis of decision-making Our laboratory is interested in the role of the frontal lobes in decision-making. Some experiments mimic gambling in that the probability and magnitude of reward associated with different actions are used to guide choices. Other experiments examine dynamic processes during strategic competition against an opponent (e.g., rock-paper-scissors). Neural activation is measured by recording single neurons in awake animals and using advanced neural imaging techniques in humans performing these decision tasks.
