个人简介
Input/output properties of spinal neurons Motoneurons represent the final link between the central nervous system and the effectors of movement, skeletal muscles. The responses of these neurons are governed by a unique set of properties based on the structure of the tree and the distribution of synapses, transporters, receptors, and voltage-dependent channels on the tree. Our goal is to determine the role of these properties in the millisecond-to-millisecond and minute-to-minute activity of motoneurons in health and the consequences of trauma caused by peripheral nerve damage or spinal cord injury to motoneurons and propriospinal interneurons.
