个人简介
I am a Research Officer at the North West Cancer Research Institute funded by Cancer Research Wales. I completed a BSc with honours in Animal Science and an MSc with distinction in Reproductive Biotechnologies at the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague. In 2010 I came to Bangor University to do the MSc in Medical Molecular Biology with Genetics, partly funded by the Dagmar and Vaclav Havel Foundation VIZE 97 studentship. This led to the opportunity to continue in cancer research at a PhD and post-doctoral level.
Aside from my research I have a keen interest in outdoor activities, especially hiking and climbing.

October 2014 Grant: Understanding and delineating the Cancer Associated functions of Brachyury, Cancer Research Wales, with Dr. Jane Wakeman
October 2013 Scholarship: The role of Brachyury in colorectal cancer cells, Cancer Research Wales, supervised by Dr. Jane Wakeman

研究领域
My current research is investigating the role of the T-box transcription factor Brachyury in normal stem cell biology and how it contributes to cancer development and progression. I am also focusing on identifying downstream targets of Brachyury involved in these processes.
