个人简介

My main research interests are in applied health psychology, specifically lifestyle behaviour change across the lifespan and psychological interventions for management of Long Term and Chronic Conditions. I also have interest and experience in health services research and evaluation. I have led and contributed to a wide variety of research projects ranging from school -based lifestyle interventions through to evaluation of public health interventions and development of cancer rehabilitation programmes. I supervise a large number of students at all levels from undergraduate through to MSc and PhD. Outside of the University I am an active member of the British Psychological society Division of Health Psychology, conducting accreditation visits for stage 1 and stage 2 Health Psychology training and I am currently honorary secretary for the Division of Health Psychology Committee. I am also a registered stage 2 Health Psychology supervisor. As Director for Postgraduate Research within the Collage of Human and Health Science, I have responsibility for strategic oversight and operational management of PGR within the College.
