个人简介
Born into a family of musical coal miners, Susie Moore was left in a wheelbarrow outside the Aberdare branch of Woolworth’s by her mother who had become obsessed by the variety of pic n mix on display. Undeterred by life’s obstacles (which included living with two older, sadistic brothers) Susie was left virtually unscarred after attending a church school and moved to London where she learnt the art of gothic dancing. Her advice to anyone thinking of becoming a midwife is to try out lots of other things first. Then, when the itch turns into a scratch, it’s time to take the plunge. Her motto in life is thus “the grass is never greener”…
Specialist subjects include: normal birth, enhancing normality in high-risk settings, the challenges of contemporary midwifery practice.
