I am a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery, but also a writer and blogger. I am the Programme Leader for the HE Certificate in Maternity Care. I am passionate about women’s issues, particularly women’s rights and choices in childbearing and motherhood. I am also the Environmental Coordinator for the College of Human and Health Sciences, and an Athena SWAN ambassador. I am a member of the staff LGBT+ network and a Stonewall Diversity Champion.
