个人简介

My research and clinical work focuses on the application of psychology to clinical and forensic settings. Specifically, my current areas of research include personality disorder, offending behaviour, staff development and outcome measurement in practice. In addition to using standard quantitative and qualitative research designs I apply mixed methods (such as Q-sort) and small sample methods (e.g. single case experimental designs) to develop theory and understand change. I currently lead the evaluation of the All Wales Offender Personality Disorder Pathway delivered through the National Probation Service. I am chartered as a clinical and forensic psychologist with the BPS and registered with the HCPC. I have worked as a clinician and service leader in a range of forensic settings including high, medium and low secure mental health settings, prison and with probation. I continue to work part time for the NHS as a Consultant Forensic and Clinical Psychologist.
