I am a Senior Lecturer in Children and Young People’s Nursing (CYPN). I am a qualified nurse – RGN, RSCN ,PGCE. I also have degree in Psychology as well as a Master degree in Nursing. I am involved in teaching and supervising the students studying for a pre-registration degree in Children’s Nursing. I also act as a module lead for post registration courses. My teaching extends across a range of courses run by the College of Human and Health Sciences where there is a need for expertise in children and young people’s health and children’s nursing. I also have links with the children’s wards delivering care across ABMU as a link lecturer. I also represent CHHS and the CYP nursing team externally as required on national fora. I have published widely in my areas of interest and have co-edited and contributed to a book on Children and Young People’s Nursing: Children and Young People’s Nursing: Principles for Practice.
