Alice Davies is a qualified Audiologist with dual RCCP and HCPC registration as an NHS clinical Audiologist and a Hearing Aid Dispenser. She is a practicing Senior Audiologist at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, specialising in Adult Aural Rehabilitation with particular expertise in Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Therapy. She graduated from Swansea University with a first class honours degree in Audiology. Alice is a member, and coordinator, of the Audiology Patient and Multiagency group for Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board, playing a key role in the development of the audiology service via the All Wales Adult Quality Standards. To compliment her clinical role, and to pursue and develop a career in academia; Alice has joined the Department of Interprofessional Studies as a lecturer on the BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Audiology) and Certificate of Higher Education in Basic Audiological Practice programmes. As a currently practicing clinician Alice's focus will be to provide significant emphasis upon the clinical components allied and associated to the field of Audiology.
