个人简介
I obtained my BSc. degree in Special Applied Physics (First) from the University of Hull in 1997. I then spent several years working in industry in the optoelectronics sector before obtaining PhD in Advanced Materials from Cranfield University in 2006. I have spent up to nine years working in research at the University of Sheffield, JRI Orthopaedics and now the University of Liverpool.
My main field of research is materials science, engineering and processing. I specialise in difficult to process alloys such as titanium, high temperature nickel based alloys and refractory metals. I also specialise in powder based processing routes such as additive manufacturing, powder metallurgy and metal injection moulding.
