个人简介
Ashkan Mohammadvali graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2015 with a MEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering. Previously, he was honoured to be awarded a computer science Diploma in 2007, first and second prize in two different types of truss bridge designing in a competition open to students from around the world in 2010 at Okanagan College, Canada. During two three-month summer placements in 2013 and 2014, he worked in the Centre for Materials and Structures at the University of Liverpool, researching the implementation of x-ray scattering data of ocular microstructure in numerical simulation of ocular biomechanical behaviour. Ashkan officially joined Biomechanical Engineering Group (BioEG) in June 2015 as a Research Associate with interest in ocular material characterisation and numerical simulation of ocular biomechanical performance as well as development of medical devices to improve management of eye conditions. He engineered software products, handling complex analysis and intricate programming to meet BioEG projects’ requirements.
