个人简介
I spent almost 25 years in industry and gained wide experience in many areas, including aeroelasticity, control systems, vehicle simulation, flight dynamics and technical software. I was project manager for various collaborative activities and work packages associated with new aircraft and technology development. In particular, a lot of effort was expended on total aircraft modelling and simulation, integrated flight and propulsion control and digital infrastructure for engineering analysis and design. Additionally, I have worked in consultancy and research management.
In 2004, I entered the higher education sector and have held positions at University of Manchester, University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and the Empire Test Pilots' School (ETPS). I was programme director for aerospace engineering at Manchester and at UCLan. Teaching and supervision covered abroad range of subjects in flight physics, systems engineering and modelling and simulation. Also, I undertook specialised teaching as a Flight Dynamics tutor at ETPS. Currently, I am senior lecturer in the Flight Sciences group at University of Liverpool.
