个人简介

I graduated with a degree in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, and was then awarded a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry by the University of Nottingham. Since then, I have worked in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Leicester and the National Institutes of Health, MD, USA before coming to Liverpool as a lecturer in 1994.
