个人简介
I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Life Sciences, having joined the University of Lincoln in 2017. Before coming to Lincoln, I held postdoctoral positions at the Universities of Tokyo (Japan), SOKENDAI (Japan) and Emory (GA, USA).
I have broad research interests within animal behaviour, but am particularly interested in the regulation of social relationships in primates, carnivores and other animals. I have explored aspects of conflict resolution, cooperation, social cognition, and empathy-related behaviours from both ultimate and proximate perspectives. I have adopted an interdisciplinary approach, integrating concepts from behavioural biology and psychology, and also combining observational studies with controlled experiments under lab conditions.
