个人简介
I graduated from the University of Coimbra (Portugal) with a 5-year integrated Masters in Chemical Engineering (2009), having completed my 8-month research project in Lund University (Sweden). After graduation, I started as a PhD student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath (UK), with a thesis entitled Modelling and Analysis of Hydrogen Storage in Nanostructured Solids for Sustainable Energy Systems, under the supervision of Dr Tim Mays. I finished my PhD in 2013 and after two years as a postdoctoral Research Assistant/Officer with EPSRC funding in H2FC Hub projects, the majority of which employed in the Integrated Safety Strategies for Onboard Hydrogen Storage Systems project, I was appointed to a Lectureship in Chemical Engineering at Lancaster University in October 2015. I am a full member of Ordem dos Engenheiros since 2014 (an associate member since 2010), having received the award for the best admission report for full member in the College of Chemical and Biological Engineering (Centre region), an associate member of the IChemE (Institution of Chemical Engineers), an affiliate member of the RSC (Royal Society of Chemistry) and a member of the AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers)
