研究领域

主要从事表观遗传学前沿研究并作出了开创性贡献:发现了第一个组蛋白去甲基化酶LSD1/KDM1A,开创并奠定了组蛋白去甲基化的生物化学与生物物理学基础,并对其生物学功能的阐明作出了关键性的贡献,激发了表观遗传学领域后续一系列Jumonji结构域组蛋白去甲基化酶与DNA甲基化胞嘧啶氧化酶TET蛋白的发现;近年来,在DNA去甲基化酶TET蛋白家族的发现及其在干细胞与癌症中的功能研究领域取得了开创性成果,推动了表观遗传学的快速发展;此外,在组蛋白与DNA去甲基化的转化医学研究领域(特别是表观遗传学与肿瘤、代谢性疾病、神经发育与疾病的交叉领域)取得了多项重要研究成果,具有转化应用潜力。发表研究论文60余篇(其中Nature与Cell 主刊共10余篇, CNS子刊共20余篇)。 目前课题组的主要研究方向包括: 1)表观遗传学的基础研究,包括发现新型表观遗传标记,探索新型表观遗传酶及其功能研究;2)糖尿病、肥胖与癌症等疾病的表观遗传机理研究;3)衰老与长寿的表型组学及表观遗传学机理研究;4)抗衰计算生物学及新型的长寿&衰老模式生物创建与研究。
