目前主要以甜菜坏死黄脉病毒,马铃薯卷叶病毒属等病毒为研究对象,综合利用分子生物学、生物信息学以及细胞生物学等技术,进行以下几个方面的研究:
1. 植物病毒致病机制的研究

3. 基于植物病毒的载体的开发和利用
4. 植物病毒病的诊断和鉴定
