主要从事玉米高效安全制种研究,在制种花期调控技术、种子活力基因挖掘、鲜食玉米种子活力遗传改良三个方面,开展基础理论和应用研究。主持国家自然科学青年基金1项,参与玉米产业技术体系等项目4项,近三年发表SCI论文6篇,参与编写《种子生产学》教材和《玉米高活力种子质量标准》等团体标准。
