个人简介

With the able assistance of Amanpreet and Sherrie, I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the Lab. I caught the microscopy bug many years ago during my doctoral studies at Oxford, and have worked in microscopy ever since. My personal research interests mainly involve the application of high-resolution TEM to carbon materials, but working in EMLab has given me the opportunity to work on a much wider range of projects, from archaeological samples to viruses and bacteria. An important part of my job is keeping up with developments in the rapidly-evolving world of microscopy and ensuring that EMLab can offer users access to a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art facilities.
