A source of general information on our research efforts that span the boundaries between chemical engineering, organic chemistry and materials science. Our group includes students enrolled in both the Chemistry & Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering Departments. We seek to establish a basic understanding of the interaction of organic materials with light and to use this understanding to guide the rational design, synthesis and characterization of new organic materials with useful properties.
