水文水资源各个因素和过程的数值计算及观测。分布式水文模型、城市水文与水热环境、陆气耦合、跨境水与生态安全。近期研究包括:高山复杂地形气象条件下的分布式水文模型开发,变化环境下水文和陆面过程的耦合,城市暴雨洪水和健全水循环,极端水文气象事件形成机理和数值模拟,综合水量和水温影响的梯级电站群生态调度
