个人简介

Iain Robinson did his PhD in the University of Liverpool looking at calcium signalling in adrenal chromaffin cells. He then did a post doc in the Mayo Clinic where he used pulsed laser imaging, capacitance and amperometry to study calcium signalling and exocytosis in mast cells and adrenal chromaffin cells. He then moved to Stanford University and started to work with Drosophila to study the molecular basis of exocytosis. He started his own research lab in the University of Cambridge using Drosophila to study synaptic vesicle endocytosis and t-tubule development. His lab moved to Case Western Reserve University before joining Peninsula. Current research looks at the role of membrane trafficking in regulating synaptic form and function.
