研究领域
General Description:
My background with respect to research interest and experience is reflected in academic / professional qualificationss and the publication list. These reflect my interest and experience in classical, molecular and clinical cytogenetics, radiation cytogenetics, molecular genetics, chemical mutagenesis, environmental biomonitoring, eco-genotoxicology and ecotoxicology.
Member: Ecotoxicology & Stress Biology Research Group
Key Research Accomplishments:
• Contribution to fundamental and molecular mechanisms of mutagenesis with respect to human and ecosystem health
• Development and applications of assays to evaluate genotoxicity, cytotoxicity and ecotoxicity (at different levels of biological organisation) in the aquatic organisms/ environment
•Ecological hazard and risk assessment
•Contribution to applied and promotion of multidisciplinary research
