个人简介

I graduated from Novosibirsk State University with an honours degree in chemistry in 2005 and did my PhD in inorganic chemistry at Nikolaev Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences. The research of my PhD was focused on the development of crystalline materials based on metal cluster complexes, establishment of rules that govern the formation of these species and areas of their possible application. In 2013 I obtained a prestigious Intra-European Marie Curie Fellowship to do a research project at Aston University. The aim of this project, named Polymeric Ligands for Molybdenum and Rhenium Clusters, was to develop luminescent materials to explore their application in materials-based (eg OLEDs) and biological sciences (eg bioimaging). I joined the University of Hull in March 2015.

研究领域

Materials Chemistry

My research is focused on the development of functional materials that employ inorganic metal cluster complexes that are naturally photoluminescent as building units to make new materials. Some exemplars of materials and areas of potential applications are illustrated below: Photoluminescent micro-/nanoparticles Photoluminescent micro-/nanoparticles Photoluminescent plastics Photoluminescent plastics Inorganic-organic hybrid materials for applications in OLEDs
