个人简介

I was awarded a first class BSc degree at the University of York in Chemistry, Life Systems and Pharmaceuticals in 1992. I continued my studies at the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Profs. Richard Winpenny and Martin Schroder and was awarded a PhD in 1995. I spent two years as a PDRA with Prof. Daryle Busch at the University of Kansas followed by a further two and a half years at the University of York in Prof. Paul Walton's laboratory. I was appointed as a Lecturer at the University of Hull in 2000, promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2008, Reader in 2011and Professor in 2014. In 2013 I was appointed as the Director of the Positron Emission Tomography Research Centre at the University of Hull which became fully operational in summer 2014. This research facility carries out a range of studies spanning from isotope production to preclinical imaging.
