个人简介

Qinghong Yuan received her Ph.D. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010. After that, she worked in Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a postdoctoral researcher for three years and then joined East China Normal University as an associate professor in 2012. She was promoted as a full professor in 2017. Her research interests focus on theoretical study of low-dimensional nanomaterials, including the mechanism of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) growth of graphene and carbon nanotubes, theoretical design of new carbon-based nanomaterials, and surface catalysis. Her research, sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and etc. resulted in over 40 peer-reviewed papers in high impact journals, including Nat. Mater., Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Phys. Rev. Lett., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater, Angew. Chem. Int. Edit., ACS Nano, and Adv. Sci. etc.
