曾在美国能源部西北太平洋国家实验室作博士后研究,在日本气象厅气象研究所作STA基金研究员
奖励荣誉
2002年获中国农业科学院科学技术成果一等奖
2003年获国家环境保护总局环境保护科学技术三等奖
2007年作为IPCC第四次评估报告主要作者获得诺贝尔和平奖
2008年获国务院政府特殊津贴。共发表学术论文137篇,其中SCI(SCIE)收录刊物论文23篇,总被引次数为近3000次
