个人简介
Mr. Jack Merrington is a lecturer in the English Language Centre at BNU-HKBU United International College. He started teaching English in China soon after he completed his bachelor’s degree in artificial intelligence, where he concentrated on natural language processing and developing his French and Spanish, as well as learning a little about Japanese, Italian and German language systems. He joined UIC in 2011, having previously taught at universities and language centres including North East Normal University, South China Normal University, and Beijing Normal University Zhuhai. He is particularly interested in speaking and listening skills development and language learner motivation. Over the past few years, he has developed the Special Program for Speaking and Listening and has been convener of the Listen and Speak Up free elective course.
