Mr. Christopher Dockstader holds a master's degree in education and has qualifications in Japanese (Nihongo Noryoku Shiken Yikyu) and Chinese (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi Liuji) languages. He taught English at Beijing Normal University Zhuhai (BNUZ) for fourteen years and has been with UIC since 2017. He has written, but not published, a 350-page book on common English mistakes made by Chinese learners based on his ten years of survey research at BNUZ. He also has two multimedia channels that augment his book. His multilingual experiences include working with the municipal governments in both Livermore, USA and Yotsukaido, Japan to interpret for Japanese exchange students, as well as accompanying Chinese students who visited Japan as representatives of the BNUZ Kyudo Club.
