个人简介

Ms. Shu (Sukkie) Yang is a junior English language instructor in the English Language Center (ELC). She has earned a master’s degree in linguistics, with an option in TESOL and second language acquisition and teaching from California State University, Fresno, USA. Ms. Yang also holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from South-Central University for Nationalities in Wuhan, China. During her graduate studies at California State University, Ms. Yang was a Chinese instructor to American undergraduates for two semesters. She tutored and assisted in the teaching of English as a second language classes in America and in China before she started a master’s degree in the US. She has presented the findings from her master’s thesis at a number of academic conferences.
