个人简介
Mr. John (JK) Ulrich is a senior lecturer in the English Language Centre at BNU-HKBU United International College. Before joining UIC, he pursued studies in secondary education and curriculum design at Texas State University, while teaching in the Austin School District, Texas. Changing course from secondary education studies, he became interested in teaching English as a second language and received a TEFL certificate in Athens, Greece. He joined the ELC in 2008 and has been involved in a number of teaching projects for the College, such as the Training Programme for Junior Middle School Teachers of English in Zhuhai (2010-2013).Upon receiving a master’s degree, his current areas of interest are the impacts of media technology on second language acquisition and the role of stress and connected speech in effective oral communication.
