个人简介
陈艳博士现任香港大学地理系副教授,香港大学中国发展国际研究中心主任。陈博士是城市绿地设计和管理领域顶尖国际期刊Urban Forestry & Urban Greening主编,国际林业研究组织城市森林单元协调员,以及中国林学会城市森林分会理事会成员。
陈艳博士先后获中山大学自然地理学士学位,中山大学自然资源与可持续发展硕士学位,香港大学自然地理博士学位。
她是国际城市林业和生态环境经济领域的知名学者,学术研究涵盖城市林业与城市生态,城市河流修复,城市环境和可持续规划,城市景观设计的环境外部性、城市环境管理和环境政策等多个跨学科及交叉学科领域。她从全球气候变化的应对战略角度,首次将城市绿地纳入城市生态系统碳循环的经济学分析,并提出城市森林在气候变化下的适应性规划,以实现生态宜居城市的可持续发展。
