个人简介
钟淑子教授于1987年在美国伊利诺伊大学获得解剖学与细胞生物学博士学位,之后在美国西北大学医学院从事博士后研究,并在美国洛克菲勒大学作为温斯顿基金学者从事了3年研究,后加入香港大学,在港大从事教学研究工作长达28年。
钟淑子教授曾任北师港浸大通识教育办公室及理工科技学部教授,现在是澳门科技大学医学院教授,北师港浸大食品科学与工程专业的客座教授,香港大学、韩国国立忠南大学的荣誉教授,中国人民解放军空军军医大学(第4军医大)、上海交通大学的访问教授。
钟淑子教授的研究领包括基因工程小鼠构建、干细胞分化、神经科学、糖尿病及其治疗应用等。已承担过包括国家自然科学基金在内的46项研究项目及56项合作项目,在相关领域发表了包括PNAS在内的160余篇期刊文章和240余篇会议文章,是多个国际著名期刊的编辑及多项科研基金的评审专家。在与制药公司合作的横向研究项目中,获得了4项相关专利。目前,她主要致力于研发中草药和干细胞用于再生医学的潜在药物。
