个人简介

王东晓教授是北师港浸大环境科学专业客座教授,王教授现任中山大学海洋科学学院院长、教授,中国科学院中国-斯里兰卡联合科教中心主任、CLIVAR/ IOC- GOOS印度洋委员会委员、国际科联SIMSEA科学指导委员会委员、中国科学探险协会副主席等,以及多个SCI学术期刊编委。王东晓长期从事物理海洋与海气相互作用研究,在南海环流演变和热带海洋年际年代际变率方面做出了系统性的创新成果。揭示了南海贯穿流的存在,论证了南海贯穿流是南海内部动力过程的关键因子,提出南海贯穿流是沟通太平洋-印度洋第二通道的观点;建立了南海环流大尺度-中尺度相互作用理论框架;对南海和热带西太平洋年际年代际变率的遥强迫等调控机制获得新认识。王东晓是国家自然科学基金创新群体学术带头人、国家杰出青年基金获得者、973项目首席科学家,2014年获国家自然科学二等奖(第一完成人)。发表SCI论文150余篇,SCI总引1600多次。主持了国家973项目、国家重点研发计划专项项目、国家重点基金等多个项目。获全国自强模范(2003)、全国五一劳动奖章(2006)、中国青年科技奖(2010)等荣誉。 Education 1993.9-1996.7 Ph.D. Ocean University of China (OUC) (formerly Qingdao), Department of Physical Oceanography and Ocean Meteorology , China 1991.9-1993,7 M.Sc.
