个人简介

刘际明教授是香港浸会大学计算机科学系讲席教授（2010.04至今）、理学院院长（2021至今），曾任香港浸会大学协理副校长（研究）（2017.05-2019.12）和计算机科学系主任（2003-2011）。刘教授在加拿大麦吉尔大学获电子工程专业硕士及博士学位。他的研究兴趣包括数据分析和机器学习，复杂网络和系统，网络智能，网络智能，以及人工智能在疾病控制中的应用。刘教授2011年被选为国际电气与电子工程师协会会士(IEEE Fellow)。刘教授曾任Web Intelligence Journal (IOS)杂志主编，以及IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Data and Information Analytics (AIMS), Computational Intelligence (Wiley) 等期刊的编委。他曾担任 IEEE 计算机学会智能信息技术委员会（ TCII ）的主席。
