个人简介

I am an interdisciplinary researcher that conducts research in sexuality, discourse, and community-based mental health interventions through qualitative methods. I obtained my Bachelor degree from Northeastern University in Shenyang, and then I continued my Master study in Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University, China Center for Chinese and American Studies (HNC) focusing on international relations and American studies. My doctoral study was carried out in Hong Kong in the field of sociology, and intergenerational relationship and negotiation between parents and their children on marriage was my research focus by then. After obtaining my PhD degree, I came on board Ryerson University in Toronto to be a post-doctoral research fellow, co-investigating several federal government funded projects on mental health and the COVID-19 pandemic.
