个人简介

Dr. Robyn Bray holds a Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Letters, and Master of Arts in English language from the University of Glasgow, as well as a Master of Science from Robert Gordon University in the field of digital curation. She was employed as the director of a number of English language departments and programmes in universities in both the UK and China before joining UIC as the director of the English Language Centre in 2020. In 2022, she was appointed as an assistant professor in English language and literature studies in UIC's Department of Languages and Cultures. She has also worked in the area of academic editing, where she specialised in helping international scholars to prepare scholarly work for publication in English. Her research interests include Old English, the development of academic disciplines, e-learning, English for academic purposes, language testing in China, and improving students’ experiences of studying abroad.
