个人简介

王元新博士于2019年加入PRA专业，目前任教应用伦理学（人文与社会科学类）、消费者行为、广告学原理等课程。王元新在美国天普大学完成了她的博士课程，获得媒体与传播学博士学位。在加入UIC之前，王元新曾任职于美国天普大学，教授本科阶段的传播，文化，和身份，技术与文化，媒体和文化差异，电视业的未来，新闻写作和媒体关系，以及高阶公关写作等课程。她的研究兴趣在于新媒体效果，网络暴力，跨文化传播，环境传播，劝说学，冲突管理，以及量化研究方法等。她的大部分发表的文章是在新媒体领域，例如新媒体效应，大数据，和新媒体研究方法等。她也在国际传媒协会（ICA），美国国家传媒协会(NCA)，以及冲突管理国际协会等国际学术会议上发表过论文。
