研究领域

1、恒星结构和演化及星团研究 a. 从2004-2018的十余年间,恒星物理学者无法构造出和日震反演和中微子预测相一致的低金属丰度太阳模型。我们提出利用转动演化太阳模型--动力学太阳模型来解决,给出低金属丰度的转动太阳模型很好地再现了日震学反演结果和中微子探测结果。 b.星团颜色星等图的研究。我们的转动恒星演化模型预测的星团颜色星等图主序拐点扩展随年龄变化被观测证实(Yang et al.2013, ApJ,776,112)。 2、星振学 人类有能力建造越来越大的望远镜,观测到越来越远的天体。但再大的望远镜也无法看穿太阳和恒星表面的阻碍。获得和理解隐藏在恒星表面下的结构和物理过程一直是天文学追求的重要目标。我们建立起了星振学观测诊断恒星对流核的理论。第一个给出观测确定恒星对流核大小的星振学方法。之前天文学对恒星内核的认识几乎都来源于理论模型而非实验观测。我们的研究的意义在于第一次使人们对恒星内核的认识和理解直接来自观测实验而非理论模型计算。
