个人简介

1980-1987年于北京师大生物学系学习，先后获理学学士和硕士学位。1994－1998年于北京师大生科院在职学习，获理学博士学位。1987年留校任教。1988—1989年在英国作访问学者一年。1993 -1994、2013-2014、2018-2019年三赴南极考察。2019年参加北极考察。主编或参加编写《中国鸟类图志》、《中国森林鸟类》、《中国鸟类的分类与分布名录》、《中国滨海湿地保护管理战略研究》等著作，在国内外发表论文120多篇。1994年获全国首届郑作新鸟类科学青年奖，1996年获北京师范大学优秀青年教师奖，1998年获教育部科技进步二等奖，2000年获国家自然科学二等奖(第二完成人)。2001年享受政府特殊津贴。 2012年获中国科协“全国优秀科技工作者”称号。2019年荣获“庆祝中华人民共和国成立70周年”纪念章。现任生物多样性与生态工程教育部重点实验室主任,北京师范大学生态学研究所副所长。兼任国际鸟类学家联盟委员会委员，IUCN雉类专家组成员，中国动物学会副理事长，北京动物学会理事长，中华人民共和国濒危物种科学委员会委员、国家湿地科学委员会委员以及《Avian Research》、《生态学报》、《湿地科学》、《动物学杂志》等刊物的编委。获奖 1994年获全国首届郑作新鸟类科学青年奖 1998年获教育部科技进步二等奖 2000年获国家自然科学二等奖 2001年享受政府特殊津贴 2012年获全国优秀科技工作者称号

研究领域

长期从事鸟类学和保护生物学方面的教学与研究工作，主持国家重点研发项目课题、国家科技支撑课题、国家自然科学基金项目、国家林业与草原局课题以及国际合作项目多项。目前指导研究生主要开展如下领域的研究工作：珍稀濒危雉类保护生物学研究、鸟类繁殖生物学与行为生态学研究、鸟类系统发育与分子进化、湿地水鸟迁徙动态与栖息地保护等。
