徐纯福 博士 北京生命科学研究所研究员 教育经历 2013年 美国埃默里大学化学博士 Ph.D., Chemistry, Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA 2008年 复旦大学高分子材料与工程学士 B.S., Macromolecular Materials and Engineering, Fudan University, Shanghai, China. 工作经历 2022- 北京生命科学研究所研究员 Assistant Investigator, National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing, China 2017-2021 霍华德休斯医学研究所/华盛顿大学副研究员 Research Associate, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Chevy Chase, MD, USA/University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA 2014-2017 华盛顿大学博士后研究员 Senior Fellow, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA 天然蛋白质经过亿万年的进化精巧地解决了自然界中各种复杂的问题,但是当今世界在健康、环境和能源等不同领域仍面临迫切需要解决的新的挑战。我们实验室旨在利用计算方法设计具有不同功能的全新的人工蛋白质来应对这些挑战。蛋白质计算设计是目前国际上生物医药领域的跨学科热门研究方向之一,成为各大制药公司的重点投资对象,同时也吸引了传统信息技术公司的浓厚注意力。深度学习算法在蛋白质结构预测中取得的革命性突破更将会推动蛋白质计算设计新一轮的变革式发展。蛋白质计算设计不仅在生命健康领域有着广阔前景,它同时也可以和合成生物学相结合在环境与能源方面具有巨大应用的潜力,但是它在国内尚属亟待开发的新兴学科。 研究概述 我们实验室将着眼于开发新的蛋白质计算设计方法并探索全新的功能性蛋白在不同研究领域中的应用,主要研究方向包括: 1. 开发基于深度学习算法的新的蛋白设计方法; 2. 设计可用于基础研究和疾病诊疗的蛋白质器件; 3. 设计新型蛋白质酶以应对环境与能源危机。
