研究概述
成体干细胞长期存在于多种组织和器官内,通过不断的自我更新和分化,维持组织细胞的新旧更替。干细胞功能的失调可能导致癌症或退行性病变等疾病的发生,但我们对干细胞增殖和分化时细胞的命运抉择等行为的分子调控机制还没有清楚的理解。我们结合相对简单的遗传模式生物果蝇及哺乳动物模型,以肠道干细胞为主要研究对象,研究干细胞自我更新和多个细胞谱系分化过程中命运决定的内源性机制及环境调控机制,及肠上皮细胞的分化和功能调节机制及它们在脑-肠-肠道菌群轴中所扮演的角色。我们的研究将最终为肠道肿瘤、代谢性疾病等肠道相关疾病的防治提供理论依据和试验基础。
